All of the following is based on the fact that God is Real, the Creator of all things, and that he is a Person with whom we interact on a personal basis.

You are about to expose yourself to what I believe to be biblical principles developed over my lifetime which comprise the foundation and parameters of my spiritual formation.

These principles are expressed in what I have chosen to call "Affirmations." They are intended to attest my understanding of God and the meaning of life. If, in some way, they provide an impetus for the reader to identify and express his own theological perceptions, then it will have done its job.

Bear in mind, however, that I have no interest in debating or arguing these points. They are here for our reader's acceptance or rejection. It is each individual's call.

These affirmations are deeply personal. They are the result of my own interaction with God. They are not presented to be imposed on anyone else. What you read here belongs to me. However, I am more than willing to share with others, the hope that my reader's own spiritual formation deepens as mine. Bear in mind that I can only take another as far as I, myself, have gone.
